What is a conversion?
It’s no secret that the business world has shifted. Online is the place to be, and that means companies and sales teams need an enticing, interactive, compelling digital storefront if they want to turn a lead into a customer. Taking the average person and turning him or her into a customer by getting him or her to perform an action – signing up to an email list, downloading something or subscribing to a service on a trial basis, or best of all, making a purchase outright = is called a conversion, and it’s the lifeblood of any business. Simple put, it’s the point when a casual visitor becomes lead or customer.
